Health Screening & Assessment - Single Program Design
~75 min.
Health Screening & Assessment may be the most important piece of any program design.  It not only assists the trainer and client in understanding physical areas of need, but also is vital to ensure a safe and effective program design.  Assessments can be simple to complex.  Your trainer will assist you in selecting beyond our base line assessments of body composition, flexibility, muscular endurance, health history, and stability to include specific assessments for your goal, job, or sport.

We will not design any program without first performing a basic assessment.  Assessments are included when you purchase training packages in the first session, but we encourage clients to purchase additional assessments every six months to track progress and ensure any health changes that may influence program design are addressed

Sport Conditioning Programs

Sport Conditioning is similar to personal training in that our focus is to assist you in meeting your physical activity (sport) goals, although in sport the goals are often more dynamic, explosive, and specific.  FIT Launch, through our Fitness Gatherings, most often provides these programs for small groups in the off season, but can also assist the team coach in developing a season long or off season program for the entire team.

Speed, agility, quickness, strength, power, hand eye coordination, core strength, balance, stability twisting power, accuracy, injury prevention, and rehabilitation are a few of the goals most often sought in sport specific programming.  Many of these skills are interrelated and yet are very individual and specific in regard to the most efficient and effective techniques in developing those skills. 

Whether you are trying to improve your weekend tennis game, prepare for your first year of Jr. High football, or better your personal best in the collegiate 100M dash, sport conditioning programs can be designed to help you meet your goals.  Contact us for further information on how we can assist you or to find a conditioning specialist in your area..

Individual and Small Group Training is scheduled by appointment only.  Packages must be purchased in full at time of initial scheduling with a minimum of one half package sessions scheduled at that time.  Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to scheduled session time.

Your Local Snohomish County Trainers:

Trainer Amy Bomar, is certified by ACE, AFAA, and has completed a year long series of course work in Sports Medicine at the UW. She also holds a BS in Holistic Nutrition.
Amy heads up the Fitness Education portion of the FIT Launch business, traveling throughout the United States and abroad providing practical and lecture programs for other fitness professionals.  Amy also is the primary trainer locally working out of the Everett YMCA, Snohomish Team Fitness, on-site of an athletic field, as well as her home personal training studio. - More

Trainer Tom Bomar, is certified by NSCA and has achieved a BA from Pacific Lutheran University. While at PLU Tom attained multiple All-Conference and All-NorthWest honors as well as honorable mention All-American in the sport of American Football.
Tom spends most of his time working with FIT Launch's other Gatherings programs and the Fitness Pro Travel Program as a professional business consultant to fitness professionals across the United States
He provides athletic and wellness coaching on-line, on-site, or at the home personal training studio. - More
